For Christmas 2006 (almost 16 months ago) my brother Blake gave me a bottle of shampoo for men with thinning hair. Yes, the male pattern baldness is slowly creeping upon my forehead. The shampoo is called: "L'oreal Paris's NEW regenium-xy Vive Pro for men daily thickening shampoo for fine/thinning hair." I just refer to my bottle as "Vive 5000." It reminds me of when Jesus fed the 5000 with only a basket of fishes and loaves.
I promise you that I wash my hair at a minimum once a day, and often twice....but I'm not joshing you around, I just ran out of the stuff this week. Its been incredible. Now granted, the bottle is a "bonus size" that contains 33% more than the normal bottle, but 16 months! Wowsers! I estimate that to be around 720 washes. And this stuff is no joke. I would say that my hair is at least twice as thick as it was 16 months ago. Thanks Blake for many memories with my "Vive 5000," and thank you L'oreal Paris for selling a product that keeps on giving.

Sweet. After your reaction to it on Christmas day I was afraid it was going to sit it the closet. The stuff is great and it does last forever. You think you're almost out, but 3 months later you're still using it.
How long do you think that bottle would have lasted me?
