I Heart Thursdays

Thursdays are my favorite day of the week. Why?

1. Thursday is paper day, the first day of the week that our newspaper gets delivered. It only comes Thurs-Sun because it was A LOT cheaper than the entire week subscription. And there is nothing better to compliment the newspaper than a tall glass of ice milk and a bowl of "Rice Krispies Treats Cereal." RKT Cereal is possibly the most underrated breakfast food on the market. Its hard to find (we currently have over 20 boxes because we buy it in bulk when we can find it) but if you come visit us, i'll share a bowl with you. Awww snap........crackle, pop.

2. Thursday nights are our date nights. In our pre-marital counseling 4 years ago, our friends/counselor/pastor Ken and Sally Ross encouraged us to keep a weekly date night. We have LOVED having a night reserved just for us to be together and hope we'll keep it going til we're 102. The picture below is what I imagine we will look like when we are 102.

3. My favorite class this semester happens on Thursdays: Pastoral Theology and Worship with Dr. Scott Wenig and Dr. Larry Lindquist. Its a 3 hour long class, so you know it must be good if it keeps my ADD attention for that long.

4. There is always some good Arapahoe High School sporting events on Thursday afternoons. I have been hanging out with some of my new friends on the freshman baseball team, lacrosse team (i'm slowly learning the rules), and swim team.

5. Now "The Office" is back on Thursday nights, but thanks to the wonders of the world wide web, we can watch them online anytime!
