And we're back...

After a week long hiatus we are back to blogging. Gracias for your patience. I spent last week on the Lakota Sioux Reservation in South Dakota. It was for a class entitled: Globalization in Theological Education: The Native American Context. More on that in a separate post later this week…

Tonight we celebrated Memorial Day with an impromptu Mexican fiesta with some friends and since the Rockies got 20 runs scored on them and no one cares about the NBA Eastern conference, we ended up watching one of the greatest films of all time, “Hands on a Hard Body.” It is a documentary about 24 contestants who compete in an endurance/sleep deprivation contest in order to win a brand new Hardbody truck. The last person to remain standing with his or her hand on the truck wins the truck. It was probably my tenth time watching the VHS 99 classic, but it gets funnier everytime.

Nat and I are both taking Theology this summer. I’m also taking Hebrew (starting Wednesday) and Nat is beginning her Practicum, which is a fancy way for saying that she is beginning to counsel actual clients a few days each week. Exciting, but intimidating as well.

Blake and Ashley, Drew’s bro and wife, are coming to see us this weekend. They’re doing a Western Tour to celebrate their 4th anniversary and Ash’s graduation from UNC nursing school. This is Blash’s first trip to the Mile High City, so we’re excited to be tour guides for a few days.

12 days til Natalie turns 28!
