Cold Noodles

There's nothing like being with an old friend. It was quite a treat to get to spend this past weekend with our college friend and Kappa Delta heart-throb, David Kernodle, and an added bonus that he brought along our new friend, Helen Hutchinson.
David, Helen, and I spent a day on the slopes at Winter Park while my prego wifey sadly spent the day inside writing a paper...so goes the life of a pregnant grad student.
An added bonus of being in Winter Park was getting to stay at Young Life's Crooked Creek Ranch and spend some time with Stu Nelson, CCR's newest head chef! (Congrats on the new job Stu)
But the highlight of the weekend was our first ever experience ice-biking. It was probably one of the dumber decisions I've made in my life, to ride a bike on a lake in 60 degree weather, (especially since I haven't closed on a Life Insurance policy yet) but it was worth it. Thanks for coming to visit us David and Helen!
