Benediction

After my post a few days ago on "Downward Mobility," I felt it appropriate to share a prayer that my mentor Bob shared with me during this season of transition. It was written by Brennan Manning.

May all your expectations be frustrated.

May all your plans thwarted.

May all your desires be withered into nothingness.

So, may you experience the powerlessness

and poverty of a child.

And sing and dance in the mystery of God.
