Rocktober 25th

We spent last weekend in Keystone with some new friends from our Monday night Bible study at the Kleager's. We stayed at Brad and Emily Lewis's (Wake grads and YL staff) mountain house. It was our first snow of the season and made for a long and slow drive back down the mountain in the ol Honda accord. On our way home we stopped for a famous "Beau Jo's" pizza in Idaho Springs. Denver was covered in snow for a day, but the sun's out now and we're back in shorts.

Last night we went to see David Crowder, Phil Wickham, and The Myriad at The Fillmore downtown. Eight of us rode in a borrowed Lincoln Navigator. It beeped when you backed up and got close to hitting something. I don't know what amazed me more, the beeping or Phil Wickham's voice. He sounds even better live than on his albums.

Tonight I'm working at the Dale House Project while the DHP Staff heads up to Lost Valley Ranch. Hopefully the kids at the DHP will want to watch the Rockies redeem themselves from last night's disaster.

UGA vs Florida this Saturday. Go Dawgs. We need this one.
My dad's bday is tomorrow, Oct 26. Happy 57 Dougy Fresh!
