Spring Break is sadly over and our stay-cation has come to an end. Although we didn't get to go on a "babymoon" as we had hoped, we enjoyed every minute together. Here are a few highlights from the week:
-MOVIE NIGHTS: due to a few snowy days, we got to watch 2 movies, a rare treat: "Kung Fu Panda" and "Resurrecting the Champ" (we recommend both, the 2nd is a 2006 film featuring Samuel L Jackson and Josh Hartnett and is worth watching just for the closing monologue.)
-MARCH MADNESS: Way to go Denver Seminary for scheduling the spring break week over March Madness. We got to enjoy a few Tarheel victories and even join the Denver Carolina Club downtown at Lodo's to watch the Gonzaga game!
-BABY REGISTERING: Our friends Ryan,Emily, and Cole spent a few glorious hours with us at Babies R Us shooting the registry gun and trying to pick out what kind of baby bottles are best. What have we gotten ourselves into? Since we are not finding out the sex of the baby, we had to register for both girly things and some macho boyish things and we'll just have to wait til August to get that stuff. It got us even more EXCITED! Click here for a link to our baby registry!
-POKER: I took home $14 in a lil Texas Holdem night of $2 buy-ins. Maybe I can actually beat Kessler and my brother one of these days...
-HOME SWEET HOME: We found a great deal on some plane tix and are heading home to NC for a week in May. Let's just pray that Nat will fit in one of those small airplane seats! :)
-CHICK-FIL-A: we just found out they are building one right up the road, due to open next month. Can it be? Sweet tea merely a couple miles away? Dreams do come true! If you're a chick-fil-a fan, check this out!
